Seals

At Calaso, we offer pressure-sensitive seals in different sizes, ranging from 30 to 87 mm in diameter. A pressure-sensitive seal is designed to stick to the edge of a jar, to protect a product from tampering. To reach the contents stored inside the jar, the consumer must break the seal.

The seals are indented for dry products such as powders, spices, or herbs and carry the text “sealed for your protection”.

Choosing Your Seal

There are plenty of seals to choose from, but you have to ensure that they fit your chosen glass jar or bottle. That’s how you best preserve your product. This is not a complicated matter, however, it’s always advisable to check twice. Each seal and glass product has a series of numbers. These have to match. So, for example, if you see 48/400, that refers to the US system of measurement. The first: the neck finish diameter, and the second: the height and thread style.

Pressure Sensitive Seal

The pressure sensitive seal has been designed to offer protection against tampering. It sticks to the rim of the jar, which means that the customer must break the seal to open the product. Once opened, it cannot be resealed, which means that you can easily see if a product has been opened or used already. Offering the ideal protection for solid products, like powders, herbs and spices.
